  What is the furniture Mounting service?

  For your home safety, and to prevent furniture from tipping over, if your purchase includes furniture that come with mounting safety kits (e.g., some closets, shelves, drawers, etc.) and you chose our Assembly service, we will mount the said furniture onto solid concrete walls. • 我購買的層架跟櫃子為什麼沒有附上牆螺絲釘？

  Why did the shelves and cabinets that I bought not come with mounting screws?
  不同牆壁材質需使用不同種類的上牆配件，你可以參考家中牆壁材質搭配使用適合的上牆配件，搭配 FIXA 螺絲/壁虎 260件組或是向當地的五金行詢問購買。請參考：家具固定上牆的方法。

  Is IKEA strict on formaldehyde testing and regulations?
  IKEA 對於甲醛有嚴格的使用限制，除了使用不含甲醛的塗漆，也致力於降低黏著劑的甲醛釋出量。IKEA 每件木質材料的甲醛使用量約為歐洲E1標準的一半，安全無虞。

  IKEA has strict regulations on formaldehyde. Besides using formaldehyde-free paints, we are also dedicated to lower formaldehyde emission in our glues. The formaldehyde in every IKEA wooden product is about half the EU’s E1 standard limits.
• 為什麼新拆封的家具會有味道？

  Why does my newly opened furniture smell?
  IKEA 對於甲醛有嚴格的使用限制，符合安全標準，但木頭材質本身具有微量甲醛，由於商品製作完畢後直接包裝，密閉的包裝空間使甲醛無法消散，所以新品初次開封可能會有異味，只要在通風良好的環境下一段時間，異味就會消失，對身體健康無害。由於環境濕度過高也會影響異味揮發，若家中濕度較高，建議使用除濕機。

  IKEA has strict regulations on formaldehyde that meet safety standards. However, minor levels of formaldehyde may be left in the wood material. As our products were wrapped right after production, the formaldehyde can be trapped in the sealed packaging, and result in an odor when first opened. Simply air out the product in a well ventilated environment, the odor will disappear, and no harm is done to your body. Higher humidity in the environment also keeps odors from evaporating. Use a dehumidifier if you find it too humid at home.
• IKEA 家具會帶有白蟻卵在其中嗎？

  Are there termite eggs in IKEA furniture?
  IKEA 家具在製作過程中經過高溫高壓，一般蟲卵無法承受高溫高壓的過程，所以無法寄生於 IKEA 的家具中。

  IKEA furniture underwent high temperature and high pressure treatments that normal bug eggs cannot survive. So, those pesky bugs cannot parasitize IKEA furniture.
• 為什麼我家會有白蟻？

  Why are there termites in my home?
  蟲害的孳生原因大部分與環境因素有關，白蟻喜愛溫暖且潮濕的地方，且喜好啃食天然木製家具，所以家中需注意溼度與環境的清潔。

  Most pests multiply because of environmental reasons. Termites prefer warm and damp places, and they like eating natural wood furniture. So keep an eye on house humidity and environmental cleanliness.
• 為什麼我的櫃子背板會彎曲/發霉？

  Why does the back of my shelf bend / mold?
  台灣氣候潮濕，持續的高濕狀態不但影響身體健康也容易造成木質家具背板變型及發霉。IKEA已經針對多款櫃體加強防潮設計，但仍建議室內使用除濕機來維持適當濕度，對健康有益且可降低木質家具變型及發霉的可能性。

  Taiwan’s climate is rather humid. Not only impacting on our physical health, continuous high humidity might also cause wood furniture to bend or mold. IKEA has improved our damp proof treatment on many wood products, but we still recommend using dehumidifiers indoors. Maintaining a proper humidity level is beneficial to your health, and it can also decrease the chance of bending or molding for your wood furniture.
• 為什麼 IKEA 的羽絨寢具剛開始使用時會有異味？

  Why do new IKEA down beddings smell?
  天然羽毛/絨，因含有動物性蛋白質及油脂，為維護消費者使用安全，IKEA 不會以化學漂洗或使用添加物來掩蓋其氣味，拆封後初期所散發的味道為正常現象。拆開包裝後請置於通風處1-2天，味道就會消散。請勿將其拿去清洗並曝曬於陽光下，高溫會使油脂揮發，讓味道更明顯。

  Natural down and feathers may contain some animal proteins and oils. For the safety of our customers, IKEA does not treat the natural smell with bleach or chemical additives. The newly opened smell is natural. Once unwrapped, please put the product in a well-ventilated place for 1-2 days for the smell to dissipate. Please do not wash and sun-dry it, as high temperatures would cause the oils to evaporate, leading to stronger odors.
• IKEA不鏽鋼系列的等級及特性？

  What grade is IKEA’s stainless steel?
  不鏽鋼泛指各種不銹鋼合金，內含至少12%的鉻，還有鎳、鉬、鈦、鈮及其他媒介。
  
  不鏽鋼系列：
  (1) 316不鏽鋼 – HUVUDRATT 內層，特性：鎳和鉻含量最高，可抗腐蝕、耐酸鹼，為市面上最廣泛應用的頂級不鏽鋼。
  (2) 304不鏽鋼 – SENSUELL 內層，特性：防蝕及高延展性。以純鉻鎳鋼製成的產品，無法在電磁爐上使用，所以這種材質的鍋具通常有三層鍋底。
  (3) 443不鏽鋼 – IKEA 365+，特性：鉻含量較430高，防蝕效果更好，也提供把手較佳的穩定性，可在電磁爐上使用。
  (4) 430不鏽鋼 – SENSUELL 外層、OUMBÄRLIG、ANNONS、STABIL，特性：這種鋼含16%-18%的鉻，具有磁性，可在電磁爐上使用。
  (5) 420不鏽鋼 – HUVUDRATT 外層，特性：適合製成刀子和剪刀。即使經過長時間使用，鉻鋼刀刃一樣很銳利，也可以重複磨刀。
  
  
  IKEA不鏽鋼產品生鏽處理方式：
  不鏽鋼是合金材料，對於鏽蝕的抵抗是持續性的，不會像鐵材快速氧化。你只需要將造成鏽蝕的原因排除，再選用偏中性的洗劑或不鏽鋼專用清潔劑、保養劑將鏽斑清除，並保持乾淨乾燥，即可以避免腐蝕及生鏽了。

  Stainless steel refers to all kinds of stainless steel alloys that contain at least 12% of chromium, plus nickel, molybdenum, titanium, niobium, and other elements.
  
  Stainless Steel Grades ：
  (1) 316 - Inner layer of HUVUDRATT, features: Highest amount of nickel and chromium. Resistant to corrosion, acids, and bases. Most commonly-used top-grade stainless steel on the market.
  (2) 304 - Inner layer of SENSUELL, features: High amount of nickel and chromium. Corrosion-resistant, high formability, but not magnetic. So we usually have 3 layers in the bottom for this type of kitchenware.
  (3) 443 - IKEA365, features: 443 has 2 more percent of chromium than 430. This extra chromium is suitable for induction cooktops.
  (4) 430 - Outer layer of SENSUELL, features: 430 stainless steel includes 16 to 18% of chromium and no nickel. It’s also magnetic and suitable for induction cooktops.
  (5) 420 - Outer layer of HUVUDRATT, features: 420 stainless steel is a perfect material for knives and scissors. Chromium steel blades stay sharp for a long time, and you can also sharpen them regularly.
  
  What if my IKEA Stainless Steel product rusts?
  Stainless steel is an alloy with a consistent resistace against corrosion; it doesn't oxidize quickly like iron. All you need to do is avoid conditions that cause corrosion, use neutral detergent or stainless steel cleanser / polish to remove patina, and keep it clean and dry, and you can keep it from corrosion and rusting.
• IKEA的花盆為什麼沒有排水孔？

  Why do IKEA flower pots have no drainage hole in the bottom?
  花盆底部的排水孔讓植物通風，保護根部和土壤避免讓過多的水淹沒，這對某些植物很重要，但對其他植物則不太必要。室內植物使用無排水孔的花盆可當作室內裝飾，不用大量澆水，平常只要噴水器噴濕葉面及泥土濕潤即可。

  Drainage holes in the bottom of flower pots help the plant by providing ventilation and protecting roots and soil from flooding.  This is crucial to some plants, but less necessary for others. Indoor plants in pots without holes can serve as indoor decoration. No need for excessive watering, just hydrate the leaves and soil with a plant mister.

  How do I know if the product is in stock at the IKEA store?

  The product I want is out of stock at a store. Could you order one in for me?
  IKEA 線上購物及分店的庫存皆獨立營運，所以無法提供調貨服務。

  IKEA.com.tw and each IKEA store run separate inventories, so unfortunately we cannot order items in for you.
• 可以預購缺貨商品嗎？

  Can I pre-order products that are out of stock?

  Pre-orders are currently unavailable at IKEA, but we can book an arrival notice for you. Please contact our IKEA store Customer Service co-worker and leave your name, phone number, and Article Number. You will receive a text message or a call once the item arrives at the store. Please note that the arrival notice indicates neither purchase nor reservation. Purchases are subject to on-site inventories.
• 為什麼有些產品缺貨好久，遲遲沒有補貨?

  Why An article has not been available for a long time without supplement?

• 為什麼官網上的庫存與分店的庫存不一樣?

  My product looked available when I looked online but when I came to the store it was gone. Why is that?
  為了使產品庫存訊息更加準確，官網庫存數字每30分鐘更新一次，但這期間也會有消費者將商品取走、購買，造成官網庫存與現場的差異。

  We have made stock information more accurate and data is now updated by 30 minutes. But of course, the product can be out of stock between checking and taking them from the shelf.
• 如果產品沒有庫存，為什麼還要在官網上或社交媒體打廣告?

  If products are not available, why are you still advertising them online/social media?
  IKEA 熱銷產品非常受歡迎，每日的銷售狀況皆不同，有的很快就售罄，有時候快到還來不及調整相關宣傳資訊。

  Our ambition is to make only high stock products visible online and in social media but are also humble to the fact that some of the products are very popular, they sell out quickly and sometimes it’s difficult for us to adjust our marketing in time.
• 要買的商品在某家店缺貨，可以從別家分店訂購運送到我居住城市的分店嗎?

  Can I have an item delivered from one store to another?
  IKEA 目前無法提供分店調貨服務，你可以從線上購物訂購並選擇鄰近的取貨點取貨。

  No, unfortunately. Items cannot be shipped from one store to another.
• 我可以從電話預訂產品而無需提前付款嗎?

  Can I reserve an item in the store without having to pay in advance?
  IKEA 目前沒有提供電話預訂服務，你可以從線上購物訂購，付款完成後選擇宅配到府或取貨點取貨。

  No, unfortunately we currently do not offer reservations for goods. However, you can select items via the online shop, pay for them and then pick them up at a furniture store or a pick-up station using the Click & Collect service.
• 如果線上購物付款後我的訂單內有商品缺貨會怎麼作業?

  What if the products in my order go out of stock after my payment on online shopping?
  若你訂購的商品無存貨，本公司將透過手機簡訊通知你，並主動為你取消整筆訂單及辦理退款。

  If the products you ordered go out of stock, IKEA will notify you via cell phone SMS, cancel the entire order for you, and refund your payment.

• IKEA 美食小站有供應哪些食物？

  What food is served at the IKEA Bistro?

  Is there a minimum spend at the IKEA Restaurant?
  IKEA 所有分店的餐廳都沒有訂定最低消費，希望顧客都能依當下的心情、胃口選擇喜愛的餐點。僅新店店的 IKEA cafe 有規定內用低消100元/人，12歲(含)以下則免低消，請注意 IKEA cafe 與餐廳提供之餐點與用餐環境並不相同。

  There is no minimum spend at IKEA Restaurants. Relax, order what you love. Spend a good time here. Only the IKEA Café in Xindian requires a minimum dine-in spend of $100 TWD per person, except for children 12 years old or younger. Please note that the menus and environment at the IKEA Café are different from IKEA Restaurants.

  IKEA Stores offer nursing rooms complete with changing stations and comfortable seats. Our restrooms also feature family bathrooms and diaper changing tables.

  Småland is a free and supervised play area for your children, located near the entrance of IKEA store. Kids between 95cm and 115cm in height are welcome to play in Småland, so the parents can enjoy shopping on their own. Småland entrance and booking rules may vary at each store. In addition, toddler activity stations scattered through the IKEA showroom allow kids to burn off some energy, so that the family shopping experience is more enjoyable for everyone.
• 兒童推車或者輪椅是否能在店內使用？

  Can I use my own baby stroller or wheelchair in the IKEA Store?
  店內設有無障礙電梯、無障礙廁所等設施，提供友善推車與輪椅的購物環境。另外，IKEA 在賣場入口處也有提供行動不便者免費借用輪椅的服務，請注意租借時需填寫租借單據，並留下租借人之聯絡資料、抵押證件（身分證、駕照、健保卡擇一），若未攜帶證件可改為抵押新台幣$1,000。只要在當日營業結束前歸還租借之輪椅，經現場檢查無任何損壞後，我們便會歸還顧客原始抵押的證件或租金。

  IKEA Stores are fully accessible to strollers and wheelchairs, complete with facilities like accessible elevators and toilets. Near each IKEA Store entrance, free wheelchairs are also available to borrow for those in need. Please fill out a form and leave your contact info and an ID (National ID Card, Driver’s License, National Health Insurance Card, or $1000 TWD in case no ID is at hand.) When you return the wheelchair before the end of the business day, and the wheelchair is inspected on-site to have no damage, we will return your ID card or deposit.
• 我可以帶寵物一起逛 IKEA 嗎？

The purchase amount is not included in the total amount of the invoice, and the purchase amount will be amortized to each item on the invoice.
  6. Returns will not be accepted for purchases redeemed by using the promotion discounts. If the product is defective, it can only be replaced with the same item number, and please go to the original purchase store within 365 days from the date of purchase.
  7. The discounted amount of activity discounts (IKEA Gift Voucher) can only be used at the same checkout counter. Once used, no refund, discount or change is allowed.
  8. After using the discounted amount of the activity discount (IKEA Gift Voucher), and the purchase amount reaches $20,000, the installment payment can be used. Installment payments cannot be used if the deducted purchase amount is less than $20,000.
  9. If the use period is exceeded or the use period is not marked, it will be considered invalid if it is truncated, altered, counterfeited or photocopied. If it is lost, stolen or damaged, it will be considered invalid and will not be reported or reissued.

  A shipping order represents a one-time delivery service. If you need to add, modify, or reduce the items to be shipped or change the service time, please call IKEA customer service or send an email to IKEA online shopping customer service mailbox before 4:00 pm two days before the delivery/ assembly date for the area north of Hsinchu (including Hsinchu), and before 4:00 pm three days before the delivery/ assembly date for the area south of Miaoli. You can cancel the entire order and receive a refund, and then place a new order to choose a new delivery date and calculate the shipping fee. If you miss the deadline, you will not be able to make changes and the shipping fee cannot be refunded. If you want to change the assembly time, you must also comply with the aforementioned changeable time. If you fail to do so in a timely manner or cancel without valid reason, you will be responsible for the full amount of the shipping service fee and additional transportation costs. For 7-ELEVEN or self pick-up orders, the selected store cannot be changed after your order placement.
  
  ※ Please note that, for Truck Delivery orders, if the first delivery attempt failed, we will contact you for refunds. However, since delivery is a labor service, delivery service fees will not be returned.   After the product is delivered to store, a SMS will be sent on the same day. If you do not receive the "Notice SMS of Delivery to store", there are the following possibilities:

  3.It may be that the location where you are located is not ideal.

  After the 14-day cooling-off period, within 365 days, you can send the product back to IKEA Online Shopping Customer Service Center or an IKEA Store. (For orders using installment plans, price combinations, or coupons/vouchers, the products cannot be returned to IKEA Stores. Also, IKEA Pickup and Order Point in Hsinchu and Chia Yi City Shop does not accept return applications.)
  If you need the return service for a product, please contact our Customer Service co-workers for a return application. We will notify the logistics company to collect the product for return assessment. Once the returned product is proven intact and all information correct, we will issue a refund to your credit card account, and send you a refund confirmation email on the same day.

  If you are not satisfied with the product, please contact us for reverse logistics or return at IKEA stores within 365 days from date of purchase. Orders with 0% installment by credit cards, combo offers and products paid with coupons/vouchers are not allowed to be returned. Besides, IKEA Pickup and Order Point in Hsinchu and Chia Yi City Shop is not applicable to the free return service.

  取貨服務：現場自取逾期未領，退款需等物品退回倉庫後才能退款，最長需30個工作天。

  Delivery Service: We will refund the payment to your original payment method within 14 working days after confirming the goods are returned correctly. If the refund processing schedule extends beyond the current billing date, it will be postponed to the next billing cycle. For on-site self-pickup services, if items are not collected within the specified period, refunds will be processed after the items are returned to the warehouse. This may take up to 30 working days.

Please bring your business card and ID card to IKEA stores to pick it up. If you don't pick it up by yourself, please provide a photocopy of the person in charge or contact person's ID card for identity verification. This coupon must be redeemed before the end of the next year February, otherwise it will become invalid.
