Hsin Chuang Store services and facilities

We welcome you to utilize our friendly facilities!

Children's playroom
IKEA Hsin Chuang Store has children's favorite playground paradise. Mom and dad can rest assured that they can leave their children to us, and let them have fun in the children's play area with color ball pools, coloring, reading, interacting with audio-visuals and many more.

 Important notice:
- Children's playroom is on the third floor. Please take the escalator or elevator from the entrance on the first floor.
- For safety concerns, this facility is only open to children between 95 and 115 cm.
- Opening hours:
Monday to Friday: Temporarily closed
Saturday to Sunday: 12:00-20:00

- From now on, visiting on weekends requires pre-booking on a time slot. The admission time is 50 minutes.
- In accordance with the CDC Pandemic Prevention Measures, children who enter the playroom are required to wear masks.
- Color ball pools temporarily closed.

Friendly services and facilities
- Family toilets: B1-B3, 1F, near the entrance on the 3F and Swedish restaurant on the 3F
- Nursing rooms: 1F , near the entrance on the 3F and the restaurant on 3F

3F IKEA Swedish restaurant offers Kids meal menu and baby food. We also prepared microwaves, bottle warmers, baby bibs, children's cutlery and highchairs in our dining area. We have free diapers available at the customer service counter on the 1F and the children's playroom on the 3F. Please check with our co-workers in-store for details. IKEA Swedish restaurant wishes you a happy shopping.

Wheelchair loan service
Near the entrance of the 3F, we offer a free wheelchair loan service for people with disabilities. We also have accessible elevators and accessible toilets to provide a convenient and friendly shopping environment.

Pets in store


Bring your lovely pet to visit the store! IKEA Hsin Chuang Store opens arms for pets to come along, but please keep them off the ground. Please keep your pets in a pet travel bag or trolley when visiting the store. Pets are not allowed in the 3F Swedish restaurant, 1F Bistro and Swedish food market due to food hygiene regulations.

Important notice: 
We know pets are family, that’s why IKEA stores welcome you, your family, and family pets (including assistance animals) with open arms! When you bring your family pet to our store (excluding Swedish restaurant), please carry them in a pet carrier, a pet trolley (calculated by carrier size, excluding frames and wheels) or a pet travel bag no larger than L55 cm x W45 cm x H40 cm, or in a small container, and close securely to prevent wastes or water spilling out. Please keep your lovely pet inside the carrier/trolley/travel bag and avoid exposing the pet's head, tail, or paws.

These terms don’t apply to police dogs on duty, guide dogs, or guide dog puppies in training that are accompanied by professional raisers.
IKEA reserves the right to interpret and modify the above service terms.
 

365-day return and exchange service

Want to change your mind? No problem!

Within 365 days, bring your item with the intact condition, have it packed in its original packaging, and the original uniform invoice to the store for return and exchange service. For payment made with a credit card, please bring the credit card and signed payment slip with you. If your uniform invoice had your TAX ID number added, please bring your uniform invoice stamp or the company stamps as well.

We are sorry that the above terms and conditions do not apply to the As-Is section, food and customized products.
IKEA reserves the right to interpret and modify above terms and conditions.

365-day mattress trial guarantee

- The “365-day mattress trial guarantee” is only valid on IKEA mattress series, but does not apply to BEITO mattresses, children’s mattresses. mattress pads, bed slats, mattress bases and bed feet. Most of our furniture products are packed with delivery-friendly flat packaging.
- If you need to return or exchange the mattress you purchased, within 365 days from the date of purchase, you can bring the mattress and invoice to the IKEA store where you originally purchased it and apply for an exchange or refund service at the customer service desk.
- If the mattress trial products are found to be man-made damaged or man-made stained, rather than structural problems in the manufacturing process, we will not accept the request for a return or refund.
- When replacing the mattress, the customer must select and pay the full amount of other styles of mattress, then the customer service counter will refund the original purchase price of the mattress to the customer in full.
- We can only refund the original purchase price of the product, not including other service fees such as mattress delivery and recycling fees.
- Up to two styles of mattresses can be exchanged during the 365-day trial period.
- The mattress trial does not apply to display products and products from AS-IS.
- The return and exchange procedures are the same as the return and guarantee stated on the back of the invoice.

Most of our furniture products are packed with delivery-friendly flat packaging. All of our furniture products come with assembly instructions, and some even come with assembling tools for you to easily put the furniture together at home.
If you need a hand with the assembly, we also offer delivery and assembly service with our professional installers at reasonable prices!

One-stop ordering service
Provide your shopping list to our co-workers, and we will place an order for you and arrange pick-up and delivery.
All that’s left to do is to pay at the checkout counter!
How to make one-stop ordering?

Personal shopper service
You can do it all yourself, but we also love to help! Enjoy easy shopping without light or heavy lifting. All you need to pay is NT$200/order, and your personal shopper will gather all the items for you. Please speak to one of our co-workers in-store for more details.

Courier box delivery service
Courier box service is self-service. Please bring your courier box to pay at the checkout counter and ask for a shipping slip, then fill in delivery contact details on the shipping slip and pack your to-be-delivered items at the packing station near the checkout exit. Please ensure the courier box is properly sealed, then bring it to the delivery and assembly service counter for the shipping arrangement. The fee of in-store courier box delivery service starts from NT$150.

 Important notice:
.The courier box is 50 x 50 x 45 cm with a maximum weight limit of 25 kg.
.Courier box delivery is limited to Taiwan’s main island (remote and certain areas are to be charged based on courier box delivery service rates).
.Courier box delivery does not apply to non-IKEA products, plants, glasses, mirrors, acrylics and other fragile items.
.Submit the parcel before 17:00 and enjoy next-day delivery (except for Yilan, Hualien, Taitung and other remote areas).
.IKEA shall not assume any compensation claims against product damages in relation to the courier box delivery service. Please pack your items carefully before placing them in the courier box.

The fee is free of charge for New Taipei City, Taipei City and Taoyuan City. Other areas and remote areas of Kaohsiung are subject to an additional travel expense charge.

We provide professional kitchen installation services at reasonable prices.
Our installers from an official IKEA partner will visit your home at the scheduled time to provide the installation service.

Enjoy an interest free instalment to get IKEA products easily!
With select credit cards, you can enjoy a 12-month interest free instalment payment plan with a single purchase of a total amount of NT$ 30,000 and above, and a 6-month interest free instalment with a single purchase of $20,000 and above.

How to apply for an instalment payment plan?
Please inform the coworkers at the check out that you would like to use the pay by installment service.
*Exclusively for Citibank or Cathay E. Sun and DBS Bank credit cards, a single purchase of $ 30,000 or above is eligible for a 12-month interest free instalment payment plan.

Parking Lot
We offer plenty of parking spaces. Motorcycle parking lot is on the B1. Car parking lot is on the B1, B2 and B3. We have Parent & Child and Disabled parking bays as well.
Self-Service Recycling Station
We welcome you to recycle old newspapers and used batteries in our store’s recycling station that is located on the first floor. We also have a self-service second hand shopping bag area where we welcome you to recycle used shopping bags for making good use of these old goodies.
Spare Parts
You may download the assembly manual on the IKEA website, note down the part number, and pick up what you need at our self-service spare part wall in the store. Alternatively, email your inquiry to us at serviceHCS@IKEA.com.tw and we will assist you as soon as possible.
Free Wi-Fi
We offer free Wi-Fi access in the entire store.
Lockers
We offer free lockers with passcode locks at B1 to make your shopping even easier. For larger luggages, please go to the B2 delivery and assemble counter for the luggage storage service. Lockers are for temporary storage use only, and cannot be used for overnight storage. IKEA assumes no responsibility for any loss or damage to the personal property in the lockers.
