A unique shape for different types of sleep

MJÖLKKLOCKA ergonomic pillow has a larger side that’s great for side sleepers as it creates a pocket for your shoulder, giving head and neck good support and reducing pressure on your shoulder. Flip it over to the smaller side and the slope lets your neck muscles relax when sleeping on your back. Although each side is designed for either side or back sleep, the cushioning memory foam adapts to sleepers who transition from side to back or back to side during the night.

How to care for your ergonomic pillow

Polyester is a durable, quick-drying and insulating material that is optimal to use for textiles and as filling in pillows, quilts and furniture. The material is made from crude oil – a limited resource. Since IKEA doesn’t want to contribute to more virgin oil being used, we are now gradually switching to recycled and traceable polyester from sources like PET bottles. What’s nice is that polyester can be recycled over and over, without changing or losing its great qualities.

With a little care, you can prolong the life of your ergonomic pillow and keep it fresh. It is important that you do not wash the foam, as this will affect the pillow's quality and function. However, you can always wash the outer pillow cover. Remove the cover from the foam and machine wash at max. 60°C, regular cycle. Tumble dry on low heat, max. 60°C.
