Grain leather is treated with a light protective surface coating to retain its natural look with marks, wrinkles and colour variations. Therefore it´s also less resistant to sunlight, dirt, liquids and scratches than leather with a thick surface treatmen
The seat cushions, back cushions and inside, top, front of the armrests are covered with GRANN – a soft, smooth and strong grain leather with natural variations. Other surfaces have the coated fabric BOMSTAD.
Safety and compliance
The cover has a lightfastness level of 5 (the ability to resist colour fading) on a scale of 1 to 8. According to industry standards, a lightfastness level of 4 or higher is suitable for home use.

What are leathers, skins and hides?
Leathers, skins and hides are durable, hardwearing materials. We only use by-products from the food industry. The materials are treated so that they’re usable for home decoration products in processes that don’t allow the use of chrome.
