“Design is an important part of sustainability since the lifespan of a product also depends on how much people love it. So when I designed the glass scented candle holder for IKEA, I wanted to make it so beautiful that people would not want to discard the holder after the candle burns out. I hope they keep it instead – and reuse it in new ways for a long time.”
