How to care for your polyester duvet

Lyocell is a strong and silky-smooth fibre made of cellulose from wood pulp. The soft lyocell fibre is good at absorbing moisture while feeling cool against the skin. That’s why we like to use it for bed linens and as a filling in pillows and duvets to give you a good night's sleep. And just as with any other wood raw material, we strive to use it as smartly and efficiently as possible to avoid waste.

With a little care, you can prolong the life of your polyester duvet and keep it feeling and looking fresh. Use a mild detergent and set your washer on delicate cycle at 60°C – a temperature that eliminates dust mites. Avoid using bleach and fabric softeners. Polyester duvets can be either air-dried or tumble-dried according to the care instructions. In between washes, air your duvet regularly, if possible, in direct sunlight.

Lyocell is produced in a closed process. Most of the added substances are recycled or reused, which is part of our ambition to reduce our environmental impact. We want to have a positive impact on the planet. That is why by 2030, we want all materials in our products to be recycled or renewable, and sourced in responsible ways. By using renewable materials like cellulose and cotton fibres in this product, we avoid using fossil or finite materials. The cotton in this product is grown with less water, less chemical fertilizers and less chemical pesticides, while increasing profit margins for the farmers. That way, we lower our environmental impact. By using recycled polyester in this product, we consume less new raw materials and lower our environmental impact while existing materials get new life.

Care instructions

Machine wash, max 60°C, normal process.

Tumble drying, normal temperature (max 80°C).
