    IKEA urges all customers who bought the MATVRÅ blue/red 2-pack children’s bibs (Product article number 904.269.23) to stop using them immediately and return them to the IKEA store where you made your purchase for a full refund.

    IKEA takes product safety very seriously. All of our products are tested and comply with applicable standards and legislation. Nevertheless, IKEA has received reports showing that the buttons on the MATVRÅ may fall off when pulled by children and therefore may have a risk of choking if children accidentally swallowed them. To ensure the safety of all children, we have decided to recall all MATVRÅ blue/red 2-pack children’s bibs.

    IKEA urges all customers who bought the GLIVARP extendable table in white to stop using it immediately and return it to the store where you made your purchase for a full refund.

    IKEA headquarter has received reports that the extension leaf of this product may detach from the rails and fall, which may cause danger to users. IKEA takes product safety very seriously. All of our products are strictly tested and comply with relevant safety standards and legislation. To secure our customers, we have decided to preventively recall the product and refund it in full.

  • CALYPSO ceiling lamp
    IKEA urges all customers who have purchased CALYPSO ceiling lamp after the 1st of August 2016 (Product article number 800.651.77), to please check whether the manufacturing batch number marked on the product is between 1625 and 1744 (YYWW). If you identify your product as one of the affected manufacturing batch numbers, please bring the product together with the invoice to the IKEA store where you made your purchase for a free replacement of the new CALYPSO ceiling lamp or a full refund.
    *The manufacturing date from the 25th week of 2016 to the 44th week of 2017.

    At IKEA, the safety of products is always our top priority, so all IKEA products are thoroughly tested during the development and manufacturing process.
    Our CALYPSO ceiling lamps have been tested and certified by third-party laboratories to comply with the relevant standards. As the IKEA headquarter has received reports that the glass shade on the products manufactured during this period may break and fall, we have decided to recall the CALYPSO ceiling lamps manufactured during the period mentioned above to reduce the risk of accidents. The CALYPSO ceiling lamps with other manufacturing batch numbers are safe to use.

  • LURVIG water dispenser for pets
    IKEA urges all customers who bought the LURVIG water dispenser for pets to stop using it immediately, and bring it with the invoice to the customer service counter in the IKEA store where you made your purchase. IKEA will recall the product and refund it in full.

    IKEA has received reports that pets may get their heads stuck in the dome of the LURVIG water dispensers with a possible suffocation hazard when they use them. For IKEA, product safety is the most important thing, hence we decided to recall all LURVIG water dispensers.
