Cooking and storing

Icing: Stir 250 g icing sugar, 1 egg white and 5 ml lemon juice/vinegar to a smooth, quite thick paste. Apply with a piping bag (can be made out of parchment paper).

Store dry at room temperature.

The name of the VINTERSAGA series consists of the two Swedish words ”vinter”, meaning winter, and” saga”, meaning fairy tale. The idea is to celebrate festive moments, inviting you to create your own cosy winter fairy tale – with rich chocolates, mulled fruit drink and tasty gingerbread treats in various shapes suitable for this time of the year.

Crafting memories – Together with loved ones

December is the time to gather family and friends for crafting – a traditional Swedish way to grow closer to one another as Christmas approaches. One of the most iconic decorations is the gingerbread house. Play some suitable music, gather around the table and enjoy treats while you tinker, piece together and adorn the house with icing and other decorations. Want to craft even more? The design language is minimalist and geometric, inspired by modernism and folk art. In the patterns I play with scale and storytelling where the figures become part of a big and colourful Christmas celebration.
