Let your home come out and play

What happens when a whole bunch of designers come together for a deep dive into the world of play and playfulness? They create GREJSIMOJS, a collection of fabulously furry chair covers, loudspeaker mice, toothy storage pouffe, and much more – made to spark more play, every day, across the home. And despite being all about bringing smiles to people’s faces – whether you’re 3 years young, 116 years old, or anywhere in between – each item is firmly grounded in all IKEA insights into play.

“The team wanted to create the classic soft toy, a teddy bear – but said: what if we make a huge one? The prototypes were indeed big, and we started to wonder how it would be to carry and wash it. We reduced the size but stuck with the idea of making a huge bear that can also sit in the living room. Our colleagues’ reactions inspired us. With a teddy bear in our arms, we became children again, and it reminded us of something important – we’re just children in adult bodies.”
