The handwoven MÄVINN rug has a minimalist design where undyed jute is mixed with cotton and small elements of wool in different colours. The natural materials create a durable surface where the interplay between the linear pattern and the colourful woollen threads results in a decorative expression that goes perfectly on the floor in the living room or by the sofa.

"I love working with the MÄVINN collections since all the creating occurs in collaboration with skilled social businesses. This year's theme is table settings, which sparked the idea of integrating something edible – and figs felt like a perfect choice. The caterpillar acts as a small mascot and becomes different striped patterns in the design. I love how the organic materials harmonise with the bold colours and hope you will appreciate the craftsmanship behind each piece.”

Care instructions

Airing and vacuuming will help to eliminate the smell that the rug can have when it is new.
Avoid placing the rug in damp spaces.
Do not wash.
Do not bleach.
Do not tumble dry.
Do not iron.
Do not dryclean.
Vacuum, shake and rotate the rug regularly.
Dry spots; remove immediately by scraping carefully towards the middle of the spot.
Wet spots; do not rub. Absorb with paper towels, damp with cloth and mild detergent.
Professional carpet cleaning when needed.
