Sleep is essential for our bodies and minds but sometimes it is disturbed when we wake up feeling either cold, or warm and clammy. That’s something our products with cooling effect can help out with. The filling in these products reacts to your body temperature by absorbing and storing body heat when you’re hot, and transferring it back if you get cold. This means your body temperature stays even and pleasantly cool, and you’ll have a more restful night’s sleep.

What is lyocell?

Lyocell is a strong and silky-smooth fibre made of cellulose from wood pulp. The soft lyocell fibre is good at absorbing moisture while feeling cool against the skin. That’s why we like to use it for bed linens and as a filling in pillows and duvets to give you a good night's sleep. And just as with any other wood raw material, we strive to use it as smartly and efficiently as possible to avoid waste.

Environment

Lyocell is a cellulose fibre, made from wood. Wood is a renewable material and needs less water, pesticides and artificial fertilisers to grow than, for example, cotton. Lyocell is produced in a closed process. Most of the added substances are recycled or reused, which is part of our ambition to reduce our environmental impact. By using renewable materials like cellulose and cotton fibres in this product, we avoid using fossil or finite materials. The cotton in this product is grown with less water, less chemical fertilizers and less chemical pesticides, while increasing profit margins for the farmers. That way, we lower our environmental impact. By using recycled polyester in this product, we consume less new raw materials and lower our environmental impact while existing materials get new life. We want to have a positive impact on the planet. That is why by 2030, we want all materials in our products to be recycled or renewable, and sourced in responsible ways.

Care instructions
