Safety and compliance

This chair has been tested for home use and meets the requirements for durability and safety, set forth in the following standards: EN 12520 and EN 1022.

The cover has a lightfastness level of 5 (the ability to resist colour fading) on a scale of 1 to 8. According to industry standards, a lightfastness level of 4 or higher is suitable for home use.

This cover’s ability to resist abrasion has been tested to handle 50,000 cycles. 15,000 cycles or more is suitable for furniture used every day at home. Over 30,000 cycles means a good ability to resist abrasion.

The only thing that doesn’t change is the soft, cushiony comfort and the chamfered legs that allow the cover to fall smoothly over the frame. We hope these chairs allow you and your friends to relax and stay comfy a bit longer.”

So that you can sit really comfortably, it’s important that the chair gives your body the right support in the right place. This was the starting point for our work with BERGMUND. After studying new research on the human body, we also developed an innovative technique that shapes the seat’s padding for optimal comfort. So regardless if you sit down for a quick breakfast or stay longer after a nice dinner, you can count on this chair taking good care of you.

The yarn in this product is dope-dyed, a colour method for synthetic fibres, which reduces consumption of water and dyestuff while improving colour fastness compared to traditional dyeing techniques.

Care instructions

Frame

Vacuum clean.
Wipe clean with a mild soapy solution.
Wipe dry with a clean cloth.
Light stains can be removed with textile cleaner or a sponge damped in water or a mild soapy solution.
For maximum quality, re-tighten the screws when necessary.

Removable cover

Machine wash, max 40°C, normal process.
Do not bleach.
Do not tumble dry.
Iron, max 150°C.
Professional dry cleaning in tetrachloroethene and hydrocarbons, normal process.
