Benefits

Designer Friso Wiersma

“I used to work as a boat builder and love natural materials. When I designed the GRÖNSAKER series, I wanted to explore giving the inner and outer sides of the salad bowl different shapes, for both aesthetic and functional reasons. The idea is that most of the salad is visible, so you can see what is being served. Most of all, the bowl and servers are a tribute to bamboo – I hope people are reminded of the beauty of this material every time they use the products.”

Materials

Bamboo, Clear acrylic lacquer

Environment

By using a fast-growing, renewable material like bamboo in this product, we avoid using fossil or finite materials. Renewable materials, as opposed to fossil and finite materials, come from living sources that can be regenerated at the same rate as they are used up.

Care instructions

Handwash only.
Not microwave-safe.
Do not use utensils made of metal which can scratch the surface of the bowl.
