This product has a non-stick coating where no PTFE or other PFAS have been allowed.

Wash this product before using it for the first time.

Safety and compliance

Handle tempered glass with care; never use if damaged, scratched or chipped, and avoid rapid temperature changes that might cause sudden breakage.

Avoid exposing tempered glass to sudden temperature changes, for example by pouring cold water on a hot glass lid.

Glass is fragile; to extend the life of tempered glass, keep the surface scratch-free, for example by avoiding metal scrubbers or contact with cutlery in the dishwasher.

What is sol-gel ceramic non-stick coating?

Sol-gel non-stick is often called ceramic coating and is an increasingly common replacement for other non-stick coatings in frying pans. It comprises mostly of silica and is created by applying a gel-like solution to the product and drying it in an oven. The result is a hard, glossy surface with non-stick properties. Sol-gel can be produced in different colours, it withstands high heat, is easy to use and clean – and allows cooking with little or no fat.
