That's why we developed our shower range with technology that helps you save water and energy. The secret was to find the right balance between the water spray and water consumption, so you use less water without losing out on a nice shower experience.

Harmony in the bathroom, one detail at a time

The bathroom is a vital part of the home, but it is often small, cluttered and improvised. So when starting working on VOXNAN and BROGRUND bathroom accessories, our aim was to help make bathroom life easier. We did something a bit different and held a workshop with IKEA co-workers. For an entire day, they examined people’s frustrations and dreams, including their own. Then our designers came up with solutions and products that can help turn bathroom chaos into harmony.

What is ABS plastic?

ABS plastic is a strong and stable material with a glossy surface – making it perfect for especially used everyday objects like cutlery drawers, kitchen utensils, toothbrush mugs and bathroom hooks. ABS is made from oil-based, non-renewable raw materials, but development is progressing and we are using more and more recycled ABS. It is an important step towards our goal of only using plastic that is recycled or from renewable sources.
