Building blocks for the kitchen

METOD frames provide the base for your new kitchen. Choose between base cabinets, wall cabinets and high cabinets in many different widths. Wall cabinets and high cabinets also come in different heights. If you want to use a corner, choose a corner base cabinet with a carousel that makes it easy to reach what's inside. There are even special frames for a built-in single or double oven. Perfect if you want to have the oven at a comfortable working height. Complement with practical UTRUSTA, UPPDATERA and VARIERA interior fittings.

A kitchen that took us around the world

If there's one thing we've found kitchens around the world have in common, it's that they're as different as the recipes we like to cook in them. That's why we spent years visiting home kitchens and speaking with chefs and architects before designing the METOD kitchen system. The result is a kitchen system that's more adjustable than any we've done before – whatever size your space and whichever direction your kitchen dreams grow.

What is particleboard?

Particleboard is made from recycled wood and sawmill leftovers – so wood pieces with the wrong shade, woodchips and sawdust become a resource instead of possibly being discarded. We use boards for things like bookcases, bed frames, sofas and kitchen frames. To protect from wear and moisture, we apply varnish, veneer or foil that adds to the furniture's look.

Environment

By using sawmill leftovers and scrap wood in the particle board in this product, we make use of whole trees and not only the trunks. That way, we take better care of resources. We want to have a positive impact on the planet. That is why by 2030, we want all materials in our products to be recycled or renewable, and sourced in responsible ways.

Care instructions

Wipe dry with a clean cloth.
