"The idea behind LISABO was to create a series with the distinct feeling of wood, a floating expression and durable, easy to assemble construction. We chose a matt lacquer on the ash veneer so the furniture will keep its natural wood feel. The special technique we use allows the tables to be produced without support rails and with slanted edges that give it a handcrafted look. The furniture can be used in different ways and the pieces work great together or individually."

How do we get all the beauty of wood without all the weight? Looking to the sky solved our design puzzle. Inspired by aircraft engineering, LISABO table features a lightweight, accordion-shaped core made from high-density fibreboard. It helps us use less material but offers great strength and stability. Giving you a table that’s easy to move around and strong enough to handle whatever you throw at it. Sometimes, the best design ideas come from looking in unexpected places.

Environment

We want to have a positive impact on the planet. That is why by 2030, we want all materials in our products to be recycled or renewable, and sourced in responsible ways. By using particle board with a slice of wood as top layer instead of solid wood only in this product, we use less wood per product. That way, we take better care of resources.
