The 12hotpot women’s dormitory in Sanchong, New Taipei City, accommodates seven colleagues who have relocated for work. To create a home-like atmosphere while ensuring privacy and addressing storage needs for luggage and clothing, IKEA for Business collaborated with 12hotpot to design a comfortable and welcoming environment.
The dorm utilizes wall space extensively for storage systems, maximizing space and improving efficiency. The dining and living areas feature spacious public spaces, with an extended dining table island that allows colleagues to gather, chat, or focus on their own activities. The living room sofa area provides a spot for relaxation and interaction. The rooms, both single and double, are equipped with beds, storage, and desks, ensuring privacy for each individual. The layout is thoughtfully planned, and with carefully chosen furniture, even those in shared rooms can maintain privacy and enjoy their own personal space to fully relax.
