Before arranging the measuring service: Require at least one preliminary meeting to be taken place in the IKEA store to discuss your space needs and to settle planning service fee and technicians’ travel expenses.

Design plan ready lead time: 10 business days after the measurement.

Design plan confirmation process: To have one discussion meeting in the store (meeting time is about two hours), and one-time-only design plan and quote change.

Customers will need to compensate for the planning service fee if the actual measured site is bigger and costs more than the pre-arranged planning service fee.

Measuring service available areas: Taipei City, New Taipei City (Hsin Chuang, Banqiao, Sanchong, Wugu, Taishan, Luzhou, Shulin, Zhonghe, Yonghe, Tucheng, Xindian, Sanxia, Yingge, Tamsui, Bali, and Xizhi), Keelung, Yilan and Taoyuan (measuring service is not available for other areas).

Measuring service’s travel expenses: Yilan $1200 / Keelung or Taoyuan (excluding Guishan) $800. Non-refundable after the measurement.
- IKEA home furnishing service does not include interior design or making customized furniture.
- IKEA does not offer construction or renovation services such as plasterwork, woodwork, partitioning, flooring, tiling, painting, wallpapering, electrical or piping work.
- Home furnishing service payment methods: Bank transfer, credit cards issued by select banks, or cash payment in-store.
- Planning service fee and travel expenses are not refundable after the measurement.
- Furniture is not included in the planning service fee. Furniture is sold separately.
- Design plan lead time for sites under 50 ping is 10 business days after the measurement. Sites above 50 ping need to be discussed by case.
- Design plan and quote can be adjusted for one time only. Design plan lead time is 10 business days.
- Furniture assembly service can only be arranged after the construction/renovation work has finished.
- We will place the order in accordance with your confirmed and signed quotation sheet. In case of stock availability issues, we will check with you to see if replacement is acceptable.
- Please submit a claim with proof within 3 days if there're defects with received products, or any damages caused by our installers. We will assist with the exchange service. We will not accept claims made after the 3-day period. Return or exchange service does not apply to unpacked and assembled products, or due to personal preference.
- Once payment is made, we will deliver products to you within 4 business days. Delivery and assembly might be arranged on different days. Please refer to the delivery and assembly arrangement notified by the service team in-store.
- IKEA reserves the rights to modify these terms and conditions. The announcement made in the store shall prevail.
