Grain leather is treated with a light protective surface coating to retain its natural look with marks, wrinkles and colour variations. Therefore it´s also less resistant to sunlight, dirt, liquids and scratches than leather with a thick surface treatmen

The top cushion is covered with GRANN – a soft, smooth and strong grain leather with natural variations. Other surfaces have the coated fabric BOMSTAD.

What are leathers, skins and hides?

Leathers, skins and hides are durable, hardwearing materials that we strive to produce as responsibly as possible. That’s why we only use by-products from the food industry and we have requirements for traceability to slaughterhouses, thereby ensuring ethically correct slaughters. The materials are then treated so that they’re usable for home decoration products. In this process we don’t allow the use of chrome, which is potentially harmful to both humans and the environment.

Through dyed grain leather from cattle, with a treated, embossed and pigmented surface
Coated fabric parts:
100% polyurethane, 75% polyester, 25% cotton
Frame:
Polyurethane foam 25 kg/cu.m., Particleboard, Plywood
Cushion:
100% polyester (min. 70% recycled), Polyurethane foam 25 kg/cu.m., Polyurethane foam 30 kg/cu.m.
Leg:
Solid wood, Tinted clear lacquer

Care instructions

Frame, non-removable cover

Clean with a duster or vacuum lightly using the soft brush attachment.
Wipe clean with a damp cloth.
Protect from direct sunlight to prevent drying-out.
