Charging rates +

(1) If your ordered items can be placed in a 50 x 45 x 45 cm box (< 20 kg), we will provide parcel box delivery service. Our system will automatically calculate the number of boxes required for the order. Ther service fee is $150 per courier box. If your entire order cannot be placed in courier boxes, we will arrange standard delivery service for you. Please refer to the table of delivery service rates for more details.

Delivery conditions +

(1)The products will be placed in the designated destination. No service for repositioning existing furniture will be provided. Please make sure that there is enough space to assemble the furniture.

(2)For buildings without lifts, there will be an additional charge of $75 per floor, up to 6 floors. Prior notice is required if there are staircases inside duplex apartments, basements or atriums. A flight of 6-17 steps shall be counted as one floor.

(3)Prior notice is required if the distance between the nearest possible unloading point and the delivery address exceeds 50m. An extra fee will be charged at $75 per every 50 m onwards.

(4)The delivery service is not available for living plants, custom curtains, trimmed curtains and food products.

(5)A shipping order represents a one-time delivery service. If you need to add, modify, or reduce the items to be shipped or change the service time, please call IKEA customer service at 412-8869 #1 or send an email to IKEA online shopping customer service mailbox before 4:00 pm two days before the delivery/assembly date for the area north of Hsinchu (including Hsinchu), and before 4:00 pm three days before the delivery/assembly date for the area south of Miaoli. You can cancel the entire order and receive a refund, and then place a new order to choose a new delivery date and calculate the shipping fee. If you miss the deadline, you will not be able to make changes and the shipping fee cannot be refunded. If you want to change the assembly time, you must also comply with the aforementioned changeable time. If you fail to do so in a timely manner or cancel

(6)without valid reason, you will be responsible for the full amount of the shipping service fee and additional transportation costs..

(7)Please measure up for a furniture delivery before placing an order for a large furniture item such as a sofa, ensuring that it fits through the lifts, stairs, hallways, doors and corridors, etc. The delivery fee will not be refunded if the product cannot be moved in. (8)For home safety, any furniture with wall-mounted accessories with a height of more than 75 cm, or with a height of more than 60 cm for children’s furniture, must be anchored to the wall, which is a paid service. Otherwise, please sign the consent form on-site.

(9)On the day of delivery, drivers will contact customers by phone within the chosen time slot, subjecting to the delivery routes. Please make sure that your phone is able to receive calls to avoid a second delivery fee. Extra charges will apply for specific delivery time requests.

(11)If you need to return or exchange goods, please refer to the return and exchange service instructions on the back of the IKEA invoice for details, and contact the IKEA online shopping customer service center. Please use the discount slip sent with the goods, or download the blank discount slip from the website, fill in the order number, sign in the blank space at the bottom right, and send it back to the designated address; customers with a uniform number must Print two copies of the discount slip, affixed with the company's seal or the special seal for uniform invoices. We will refund the remaining amount to you after deducting relevant expenses after receiving the discount order and confirming that it is correct.

Assembly service requirement +

Assembly service fee is 7% of the item invoice price with a minimum fee of $400 (sofas, sofa-beds, and armchairs are charged differently). Mattress requires no assembly fee. Currently, the online shop offers lighting & curtain rod assembly referral service, but assembly and installation service for kitchen & wash-basin are unavailable yet. Please contact your nearby IKEA store for said service. You may refer to the delivery and assembly service page for more information.

Assembly space +

When purchasing larger furniture such as a sofa, please check the dimensions of your elevator and staircases to ensure delivery access first. For other furniture such as bed frames or wardrobes, please make sure there’s enough space for assembly before placing the order. In case of said access or assembly issues and you need to return the item after our service provider made the delivery, we are unable to refund you with the delivery fee. Safer homes together +

In order to prevent furniture tip-over accidents, please secure furniture to the wall when it comes with wall anchoring safety kits, for examples wardrobes, bookcases, and chest of drawers. If customers select assembly service when purchasing these products, our professional installers will secure your purchased furniture to the wall. However, this wall anchoring service can only be applied to solid concrete walls. Solid concrete walls (cement) Wall anchoring service can only be applied to solid concrete walls. If you decided not to accept wall-anchoring installation, an affidavit should be confirmed and signed by you. You may also consult our wall anchoring guide. Wall anchoring service fee is $30/hole and to be charged on site.
