1. General ‧ The IKEA Card is issued by IKEA
Taiwan (“IKEA”). It is the property owned by IKEA Taiwan and authorized
to the cardholder. You shall not lend, transfer, or allow the third
party to use the card.
‧ Please fill out the sign-up form with complete personal information
to ensure your privilege and benefits.
‧ The IKEA Card is only for the IKEA Card holder (“Cardholder”)
to use inside the country R.O.C. Taiwan. When you shop at IKEA,
please show your IKEA Card at the checkout counter before paying
for the goods.
‧ If your IKEA Card is lost or stolen, please report the loss in
person at the customer service center in any IKEA store and go through
the process of reissuing the IKEA Card to ensure your privilege
and benefits.
‧ Should your contact phone number or address be changed, please
notify our customer service center at any IKEA store to ensure your
privilege and benefits.
2. How to redeem free coffee (Please refer to announcement
in stores for specific event period)
‧ After purchasing home furnishings at IKEA (not including the
IKEA restaurant, bistro and IKEA Swedish food market), you can show
your IKEA Card and receipt at the bistro near the checkout counter
during the day, and have a free cup of coffee.
‧ You can only redeem free coffee at the bistro. IKEA restaurants
do not provide the free coffee redemption service. You can only
redeem one cup of coffee with one receipt.
3. IKEA gift voucher lucky draw event (Please refer to
announcement in stores for specific event period)
‧ Each month we draw one winner of the NT$100,000 worth of IKEA
gift voucher prize.
‧ IKEA Card holders who purchase home furnishings at IKEA (not including
the IKEA restaurant, bistro and IKEA Swedish food market) automatically
join the NT$100,000 worth of IKEA gift voucher lucky draw event
of the month. Shopping several times in one day counts only one
entry. All the lucky draw qualifications of the previous month will
be deleted by the first business day of a month and the lucky draw
event will be restarted.
‧ IKEA will draw a winner randomly by computer at the 5th of every
month with a witness accountant on the scene (if it is a holiday
the event will be put off). We will notify the winner by phone and
mail. The winner list will also be announced in IKEA stores and
the website www.IKEA.com.tw.
‧ The winner must follow the instructions on the winner’s certificate
we mailed, bring your Identity Card, your seal, and the winner’s
certificate, and go through the necessary prize claiming procedures
in person. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash.
‧ Should the winner be under age 18 years of age, he or she must
claim the prize with a legal representative. The legal representative
must bring his or her Identity Card, seal, and the winner’s certificate.
‧ Relevant tax declaration procedures should be followed in accordance
with the present tax law. Please finish the tax-paying procedure
if necessary to go through the prize claiming process.
‧ IKEA Card holders who did not provide accurate and complete personal
information, including but not limited to ID No., while applying
for the IKEA Card and the winner’s identification cannot be confirmed,
are regarded as waiving the winner’s qualification.
‧ Winners who cannot finish the prize claiming procedure during
the prize claiming period are regarded as waiving the winner’s qualification.
‧ Only legal residents of Taiwan, R.O.C. above thirteen years old
are allowed to join the lucky draw event. All relevant events are
invalid in law-forbidden areas.
‧ Employees and their family members (including parents, children,
siblings, spouse and family members who live with them) of IKEA,
promotion agencies of IKEA Card, and relevant companies are not
allowed to join the lucky draw event.
4. How to attend IKEA Creativity In-store Talks (Please
refer to announcement in stores for specific event period)
‧ IKEA invites experts of various fields to be the instructor of
our “IKEA Creativity In-store Talks” from time to time. The number
of participants is limited due to the limited space. Please sign
up in advance. Please see bulletins in store or ask our clerks for
more details.
‧ Subjects and schedules of the IKEA Creativity In-store Talks will
be announced in IKEA stores, websites, and relevant publications.
IKEA reserves the rights of changing schedules, subjects and instructors.
5. Free issues of IKEA Card magazine
‧ Free issues of IKEA Card magazine will be mailed as a part of
IKEA events from time to time.
6. Miscellaneous
‧ You authorize IKEA Taiwan, any companies that cooperates with
IKEA Taiwan, their affiliates, and promotion agencies to gather,
make use of, process with computer, furnish, research, or analyze
your personal information, transaction records, conforming to the
Computer-Processed Personal Data Protection Law in the range of
business needs.
‧ IKEA Taiwan will make every reasonable effort to ensure that all
the personal data is stored under well management and security.
We will not expose or use your data on any events not mentioned
above.
‧ IKEA Taiwan reserves all rights of actively explaining, modifying,
or terminating relevant events, prizes and other details. Please
refer to the announcement in stores for detailed rules and modifications.
‧ If there is a discrepancy between the English version and the
Chinese version of the terms and conditions, the Chinese version
shall control.
